Next, genuine silver leaf in small square sheets is applied to the entire surface. Lastly, the vase is coated with layers of lacquer for a protective finish. It is the silver leaf that gives the lacquered vase its deep rich luster, and delicate textured look. Floor vase measures 36"H x 12" diameter. Bamboo vases do not hold water.
